worked like a charm, removed my license with the Microsoft license removal tool, entered my new product code on the Microsoft website and activated my apps with the new licence.
no more reoccurring payments, I should've done this sooner.

Worked well. Please note if you have or have had an office 365 license for mac - you need to download the Microsoft license remover tool, run it and then re-open an application to select your new license. Uninstalling and reinstalling Office doesnt work. After i used the license removal tool, it worked perfectly. Just sharing in case it helps someone. Cheers.
