I am from Malaysia, and it worked well. However, I need to activate by phone which is free of charge if you call 1800 number.
It will take some time during the call. And it all went well and activated.

Took me 2 minutes to do the whole process... paying, insert the code in my windows pc to activate the OS and the work was done.
